Our story takes place at Camp Beaumont in February of 2018. The ground is covered in snow. After the Owls kept pranking Doc by hiding his coffee mug, he thought it would be a great idea to retaliate. Doc made the mistake of stealing one of our patrol mascots: the plastic owl. He thought he was slick, but I could see him snag it out of the corner of my eye. We locked eyes and he sprinted out of the cabin. I was quick to react so I chased him outside. He started to run laps around the Suburban to try and lose me, but I was quick on his tail. At one point, he turned back to see if I was still chasing him and ran straight into the side mirror of the Suburban. He hit the ground and I laughed so hard I too fell down. Doc to this day says I should have been a good scout and quickly gone over to help him. I think he was just salty I got our owl back.
